The new awards will focus on recognising and celebrating people rather than products or facilities

Developed in partnership with the event’s media partner, The Salon Magazine, the Salon Excellence Awards are being designed to celebrate excellence in management and various support services in the salon industry and are open to businesses delivering hair and beauty or aesthetics services only.
Event founder Andrew Hammond explained: “As an industry, we often nurture and reward talent in unique ways within our salons and businesses but the Salon Excellence Awards aim to bring them together on a national stage to recognise their achievements.
“We want to give the success of your business a face and celebrate the individuals who help make the team tick, day-in and day-out.”
Hammond said the accolades will be unique because they’ll focus on people rather than products or facilities.
Awards will be presented in four separate categories including a dedicated award for salon marketing and a Salon Hero award for rising stars in the industry.
The official launch of the programme will take place at this year’s Salon Life Beauty Convention on 15 November at the five-star Leonardo Royal City Hotel in London. The conference will feature a full day of networking meetings and management education, alongside an exclusive Expo Arena where leading brands will showcase their products and services.
Salon managers interested in entering the awards and suppliers wishing to get involved in the sponsorship of the programme are advised to submit initially enquiries online.
The Salon Life Beauty Convention is a multi-faceted event designed to bring together salon professionals from all aspects of the industry – operators, suppliers, consultants, educators and media – for a diverse schedule of activities designed to educate and inspire you and your salon team Web: https://www.salon-life.co.uk/
