Presenters on ITV’s Design Wars interior design reality tv show have been equipped with their own Club Car golf car in which to travel around the locations.
The cars are very similar to the new Run-A-Bout vehicle previewed at IOG Saltex in September and which is said to be the first road legal golf vehicle available direct from a manufacturer on the UK market.
The Run-A-Bout is an NEV – Neighbourhood Electric vehicle – based on Club Car’s golf car, the electric IQ. It is capable of travelling at up to 21mph and has a range of up to 33 miles on a single overnight charge.
The car has all of the necessary features required for a road vehicle, including 3-point seat belts, wheel brakes, indicators, headlights, windscreen wipers, horn and rear view mirror. Additional features are a safety-glass windscreen and tip-over frame.
Run-A-Bout is aimed at a wide range of customers and will be available fully registered for delivery from December.
